Our wide range of products guarantees its complex offer for materials for maf-anov-arc-furnaceall types of electric arc furnaces with low and high capacities. An offer includes a graphic design of an electric arc furnace together with the full material and cost balance.

Individual selection of refractory materials for an electric arc furnace is based on an analysis of their operating conditions. Research and develop­ment works conducted, as well as tests which simulate the operating conditions, create possibilities to update offered products to the requirements of modern steelmaking industry.

Offer for products for electric arc furnaces includes:

  • Materials for the insulating layer;
  • Unburned MgO-C bricks bonded with resin or pitch, differing by the contents of carbon and fused MgO, with a possibility of pitch impregnation by the vacuum-and-pressure method for zonal working linings;
  • Burned and unburned MgO-Cr2O3 bricks for zonal working linings for furnaces with a periodic operation;
  • Monolithic elements for roofs (delta), near-electrode areas and runners;
  • Construction-and-repair mixes for hearths,bevels, for gunning and seating of taphole shapes and purging plugs;
  • Tapping blocks – for bottom and side tapping;
  • Bottom blow shapes.

Refractory materials offered for the zonal working lining of electric arc furnaces guarantee a repeatable and high service life

Awards

Blow shape for electric arc furnaces was awarded with:

  • GOLDEN MEDAL on the 49th World Exhibition of Innovations,Research and New Technologies “Eureka 2000 ” in Brussels.

Composite large-size monolithic elements for the roofs of steel electric arc furnaces was awarded with:

  • GOLDEN MEDAL on the World Exhibition of Innovations,Research and New Technologies  “Eureka 2002 ” in Brussels,
  • EUROPEAN MEDAL for Product edition 2002,
  • Diploma of Acknowledgement awarded by the Scientific Research Committee,
